‘Het essay als grensganger’ (The essay as border crosser), the (Dutch language) course for the general public organized by Thijs Lijster (University of Groningen), in cooperation with Noordwoord, began on the 2nd of October.
Eleven enthusiastic participants read and discussed essays by Montaigne, Hume, Woolf, Zwagerman and Pruis, among others.
