The collection Essays beyond the borders of Groningen brings together some of the essays written for the English-language MA course organized in the academic year 2024-2025 by Thijs Lijster and Mathijs Sanders.
They contain a total of 11 essays, on topics ranging from homesickness to feminism, and from death to music, written by some of Groningen University’s most talented young essayists.
IIf you are a writer, a student, a researcher, an educator, or you are just interested in the essay and essayistic writing, we invite you to participate in our writing workshops, conferences or research initiatives.
