Between November and December 2024, Prof. Mario Aquilina delivered ten creative writing workshops for more than seventy students in five different post-secondary schools in Malta.

The workshops focused on writing about place in ways which combine personal experience with general ideas that are relevant to a wider audience. Participating students were given the opportunity to receive detailed feedback on their essays and to have their submitted work considered for publication on the project’s website.

The participating schools were Gian Frangisk Abela Junior College, St. Martin’s College, De La Salle College, Giovanni Curmi Higher Secondary, and St Aloysius College.
