The final session of the first essay workshop series for the general public in Malta was held on Saturday 16th November.

The workshops, which were delivered by Prof. Mario Aquilina and held in historical sites managed by Heritage Malta, consisted of five sessions of three hours each and were attended by essayists, academics, journalists, teachers and students.

Participants in the workshop learned about the essay form and had the opportunity to write about the concept of place from a personal perspective. They participated in peer review sessions, conducted fieldwork in historical sites, and discussed their writing practices.
