The three winners of the first EBB essay competition for Post-Secondary Students in Malta have been announced. In no particular order, the winning essays are ‘The Temple’, by Julian Vella from De La Salle College; ‘On Art’, by Corinne Vella from De La Salle College’ and ‘Of Lost Appreciation’, by Mila Scicluna Bartoli from Gian Frangisk Abela Junior College.

In recognition of their achievement, students were presented with an anthology of personal essays. Certificates were distributed to 70 students from the colleges participating in the EBB project this year, which also included St Martin’s College and St Aloysius College.

Students who submitted their essays were given detailed individual feedback on their work, and a number of submissions, including those of the winners, have been chosen for publication on the EBB website.
